Every color in Cirrus is alive. From Dawn to Morning to Day, through Evening, Dusk, and into Night — the palette breathes with the sky, so the app you open at sunrise is never the one you open after dark.
Your whole day in plain English. A coach that reads last night's sleep. The exact planets overhead tonight — and a background that moves with the real sky. Swipe through and see what your weather app has been hiding from you.

Cirrus Health
Still a weather app at heart — it just pays attention to more of it. Cirrus pairs live conditions with your recovery from Apple Health and coaches you through it: a 0–100 sleep score, your steps and resting heart rate, an AI Sleep Coach you can ask anything, and a daily read on whether to push or take it easy.
Active Storm
When a tropical storm or hurricane is named, Cirrus pulls in the full picture — where it's heading, how strong it'll be, and a countdown to when the storm arrives at your exact location. No advisories to decode. No guesswork.
The Road Ahead
Enter any route and Cirrus maps conditions mile by mile — your route colored by conditions, city-by-city weather at your actual arrival time, and a warning if a storm is anywhere along your route. When you're ready, hand off to Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze.
Most weather apps stop at the temperature and a cloud icon. Cirrus keeps going — a living background that moves with the sky, an AI Sleep Coach that reads your recovery, live radar, stargazing, and a cosmic calendar of everything overhead tonight.
Ask Cirrus anything.
One subscription. iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch — the same beautiful forecast, wherever you look.

Most weather apps are a billboard with a forecast attached. Cirrus is just the weather.
“The only weather app I’ve ever paid for — and the only one I’ve ever kept.”
No ads, no panic headlines, no feed to scroll. Just a calm, beautiful read on the sky that somehow also knows when I slept badly. It’s the rare app that feels designed for me, not at me.
This is what weather
should feel like.
Calm. Beautiful. Alive — the moment you open it.
From the Creator and Founder
Hi, I'm Josh. I've never written a single line of code in my life.
I spent a decade inside the attention economy, leading social media at CNN, then Fox News, shaping how hundreds of millions of people consumed information every day. I know every trick in that playbook. I wrote some of the plays.
One day I opened a weather app to check if my son's baseball game was getting rained out and had to scroll past mattress ads, Medicare supplements, and a sponsored article about walk-in bathtubs just to find the forecast. I recognized exactly what I was looking at.
I watched the media learn that hysteria and panic drive clicks. The scarier the headline, the better the numbers. More fear, more clicks. More clicks, more ads. That's it. That's the whole business. I decided to build something that just tells you the truth.
I used Claude Code to build it. You describe what you want. The AI writes the code. You test it, break it, describe what went wrong, and start again. Over and over. Relentless trial and error. The kind of patience that outlasts most people’s attention, and the refusal to quit until it was right.
The skill isn’t describing what you want. Yes, anyone can make a request. The work is in the gap between what came back and what you knew it should be. Closing that gap, over and over, thousands of times, is where Cirrus was actually built. Knowing what to ask for is easy. Knowing when the answer isn’t good enough, and exactly why. That’s the craft. That’s what separates a result from a product.
The code is Claude’s. The vision, the design, the obsession with every detail, that’s mine. These tools are now available to everyone. So was the camera when it was invented. People said anyone could take a photo. They were right and they were wrong. It doesn’t compose the shot, choose the light, or know what matters. The photographer does.
Hundreds of hours. Thousands of conversations. One person who believed in it enough to see it all the way through.
Cirrus is the weather app I always wanted. Built by one person who understood exactly what he was replacing, for people who deserve better than what they've been given.
No ads. No articles. No agenda. Just the weather. Beautifully done, the way it always should have been.
I hope you love it as much as I do.
